Purpose:
We are seeking a Game Security Analyst to join our team in Toronto, Canada, reporting directly to the Manager of Game Integrity and Security.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Monitor, find, and investigate behaviours that are prohibited by GGPoker’s Security & Ecology Policy.
- Communicate with users under investigation and/or that have been caught for prohibited behaviours in order to administer appropriate penalties.
- Research, discover, identify, and record the latest auxiliary tools used in online poker.
- Analyze users’ playing behaviours (e.g. game stats) and document them for investigative purposes.
- Proactive detection of fraudulent activity.
- Review and process players’ reports.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Poker experience is not mandatory but it will definitely provide an edge in executing additional roles this position could lead to.
- Strong logical and analytical skills as well as the ability to multitask and balance multiple projects and priorities with minimal supervision.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to articulate issues and results in a clear, concise, and precise manner, both verbally and in writing.
- You must be a dedicated and supportive teammate and be willing to help out when needed.
- Ability to work on projects independently or collaboratively with the team.
- Proactive about new projects that will help the team.
- Curious by nature, passionate about poker and improving the ecology of the poker industry.
- Being Bilingual (in any secondary language) is a plus.
