Position:
We are looking for a Business Intelligence Analyst to join our lean, fast-moving Business Intelligence team at GGPoker, the leading online poker platform in the world. You’ll work in a high-impact environment where data drives every decision.

This role is ideal for someone who is naturally curious, moves fast, and thrives at uncovering the story behind the numbers. You won't just build reports, you'll own them, evolve them, and proactively bring insights to the table before anyone has to ask. If you're the type of person who spots something off in a dataset and can't let it go until you understand why, we want to hear from you.

You will report directly to the Head of Business Intelligence.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Proactive Monitoring & Issue Detection: Stay ahead of the numbers. Identify trends, anomalies, and performance shifts before they become problems and bring clear, actionable findings to stakeholders
  • Data Visualization & Reporting: Build, own and maintain dynamic Tableau dashboards that non-technical stakeholders can understand instantly.
  • Player & Business Analysis: Analyze large, complex datasets to understand player behavior, product performance, and business trends, connecting quantitative patterns to real business impact
  • Data Design: Write and optimize SQL queries against our Snowflake data warehouse to extract critical information that meets evolving stakeholder needs
  • KPI Development: Lead and support the development and improvement of core business metrics including LTV, Churn, CAC, and regional performance indicators
  • Forecasting & Budgeting: Monitor and track performance against forecasting models, flagging deviations and contributing to planning cycles
  • Stakeholder Communication: Translate complex technical findings into clear, concise executive summaries that drive decisions, not just inform them
  • A/B Testing & Experimentation: Support the design and evaluation of experiments on product and promotional changes

Requirements - Soft Skills:

  • Fast learner who thrives under pressure. You pick things up quickly, adapt on the fly, and don't need a lot of hand-holding to get up to speed
  • Resourceful and self-directed. When you hit a wall, you find a way around it. You figure things out independently before escalating
  • Genuinely curious. You ask why, not just what. You dig into the data because you actually want to understand it, not just because someone asked you to
  • Strong ownership mentality. You treat your work like it's yours and don't wait to be told something needs fixing
  • Business and finance intuition. You understand what the numbers mean for the business, not just what they say on the surface
  • Clear, confident communicator. You can explain a complex finding to a non-technical executive in two sentences
  • Organized and detail-oriented. You QA your own work, catch your own errors, and don't ship something you're not confident in

Requirements - Technical Skills:

  • Strong SQL skills (required). You're comfortable writing complex queries against large datasets independently
  • Experience with Tableau or other BI visualization tools (required)
  • Experience with Snowflake or equivalent cloud-based data warehouses (required)

Definitely Apply if You Have:

  • Experience in iGaming, fintech, or high-volume data environments (strong asset)
  • Experience in a startup or high-growth environment (asset)
  • Passion for poker, strategy games, or competitive gaming (asset)
  • Familiarity with KPI frameworks in a gaming or subscription or retention business
  • Experience supporting forecasting or budgeting cycles
  • Exposure to A/B testing or experimentation frameworks

Total Rewards:

  • Annual salary and level review
  • Max 50% bonus per annum
  • Paid vacation and sick time off
  • Flexible and comprehensive benefits
  • Commute coverage
  • Birthday Gift
  • GGPoker Swag
  • Preferred Gym rate
  • Endless snacks and beverages
